Don Alexis, Costa Rica
When we met the two brothers behind the Don Alexis farm, we immediately knew we needed to start working on bringing their coffees to the United States. As young men, they inherited the farm, from their late father, Don Alexis, and are effectively obsessed with improving every detail of quality. This year for instance, they were able to improve the coffee's water activity, by building covered raised drying beds. This should improve and preserve the freshness and flavors of the coffee. We are extremely lucky to be a part of their early success, and look forward to bringing back these coffees for many years to come!
