Introducing the first of two fantastic 2018 Kenya Coffees. Both of these coffees are from Nyeri, which, because of its high elevation and rich volcanic soil is one of the most favorable growing regions in the world. This first coffee is from the Kanake coffee factory in Kiambu County. The Kanake mill is owned by its 450 + farmholders. We fell in love with Kanake coffee initially because it is extremely clean and sweet. Flavor notes are stone fruit, and tropical fruit, with light florals reminiscent of chamomile tea.
